Eight stories

The winners of January’s National Year of Reading Our Story competition have been announced.

The titles are Smoke and Mirrors, by Kel Robertson (ACT); The Idea of Home, by John Hughes (NSW); Listening to Country, by Ros Moriarty (NT); The White Earth, by Andrew McGahan (QLD); Time’s Long Ruin, by Stephen Orr (SA); Wanting, by Richard Flanagan (TAS); Well Done, Those Men, by Barry Heard (VIC) and Jasper Jones, by Craig Silvey (WA).

Scroll down to page 4  of this list to read the descriptions of each of these books.  I’d love to hear from anyone who has read any of the titles (they are all available in the Barr Smith Library.)
